[UX] What are users really needed from the flexible display?

이미지
When it comes to flexible/bending display, why do we need it in the phone screen? It applied to the curved edge, but that is not so much useful in life. I agree that is fancy somehow, but it makes the price of the phone higher, and hard to fix the broken screen as well. I would rather design that technology for the zero bezel or dual display than just curved edge if I were a designer of the product.

[UX] Understanding emotion (Definition of the emotion)

이미지
Emotion is one of the main concepts in UX definition with Usability, Usefulness, but this is very subjective and metaphysical. Therefore, I am going to focus on the actual point to design emotion in UX design work. Emotion can be defined as a sub-concept like 5 senses of human, and I am going to explain the actually designed cases in UX.

[English study] 13 years old vs 13 year old

이미지
We already studied the expression about notation.  I left an example with hundred and hundreds expression in the previous posting. In this case, I am going to handle another expression of notation for age. There are some examples for this. (1) I am 13 years old. (O) (2) I am 13 year old. (X) When you say your age to somebody, and you use this expression as complement, you should add 's' after the expression of YEAR. (3) There is a 13 years old boy. (X) (4) There is a 13 year old boy. (O) When you indicate someone's age, and the expression is used as adjective in the sentence, you don't have to add 's' after the expression of YEAR. You know always there are lots of exceptions in English, but what matter are they? That's why we are studying. Language is changing now. See you next time.
